I was born with a deep seated desire and drive to make things… a compulsion and not something I have much control over. My creative impulse manifests in many forms of art, including photography, painting, gardening, ceramics, cooking, mixed media, and jewelry, as well as others. Upon graduation from Indiana University with a BFA degree, I chose to pursue art as a way to make a living. That was in 1982 and since that time juried art fairs have been my main source of income.
My husband and I look at jewelry as wearable art. Inspired by the organic nature of the materials, primitive cultural designs, and nature, we produce sculptural pieces that will adorn the body. We try to maintain a balance between something which is art, and yet still very wearable. We hope you can appreciate the results.
